The 25th Congress of Gastroenterology China (CGC 2025), hosted by the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology (CSGE), will be held in Changsha from October 23 to 25, 2025. This conference is a key academic event of the CSGE in 2025. Renowned experts in the field of gastroenterology from home and abroad will be invited to deliver academic reports through various forms, including plenary speeches, special topic lectures, face-to-face expert sessions, and case discussions. We sincerely invite you to participate in this grand event and actively submit outstanding manuscripts to contribute to the development of gastroenterology in China. 

The call for papers and related details are as follows:

Topics for submission: Epidemiological, basic, and clinical research on digestive system diseases

Submission Requirements

1.Chinese abstracts should be 400-800 words, and English abstracts 200-400 words. Submissions outside this word range cannot be uploaded to the system. Abstracts (Chinese or English) must be structured into four sections: Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.


2.Clinical case reports should be submitted to the "Complex and Severe Cases" category. Other research types should be submitted to relevant topics based on content.

Requirements for clinical case reports:

①Rare cases: Diseases with limited domestic/foreign literature reports or rare manifestations of common diseases.

②Complex cases: Diagnosis via multidisciplinary consultation or emerging technologies, or cases requiring innovative treatments due to failed conventional therapy.

③Misdiagnosed cases: Cases with valuable lessons from misdiagnosis.

④Other cases: Cases providing clinical guidance or insights.

Submissions should include medical history, diagnosis/treatment processes, key lab/imaging results, treatment measures, and outcome. Word count should be 800-1000 words. Inspection images could be attached.


3.Endoscopic Diagnosis/Treatment or Interventional Procedure Videos must include both a text part and a video part.

Text part (400-800 words) must include: 

①Brief medical history 

②Preoperative diagnosis 

③Procedure name and indication 

④Key preoperative preparations 

⑤Postoperative summary, complications, and pathology 

⑥Follow-up status

Video part: Duration: 5-6 minutes. Formats: avi, mpg, or mpeg 4. File size≤500 MB. Include operator names, video creators, and their affiliations.


4.Manuscripts should be scientifically rigorous, focused, data-driven, and logically concluded, with clear language.


5.Submission should preferably be unpublished work not previously presented at national academic conferences. If the research or case has been accepted by a high-impact international journal, please indicate this for a potential conference presentation opportunity.


6.Authors should accurately fill in their full name(s), affiliation(s), postal code, and email address(es) in the submission system, and mark clearly the abstract presenter.


7.Abstract type (oral presentation or poster presentation) should be selected in the system.


8.Submission method: Online submission via the conference website (www.csgd.org.cn) in Chinese or English. Email and postal submissions are not accepted.
